We are seeking experienced and passionate Support Workers to join a fantastic independent care company with Supported Living and Residential services in the High Wycombe area.

Our client is a growing, dynamic care company which has developed bespoke services over several years within central High Wycombe, providing support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, ASD, and challenging behaviours. They have multiple sites around the town including Residential, Supported Living and step-down services and are looking for dedicated Support Workers on Days and Nights to join their growing team.
About the role:
The company provides support for people with a variety of needs including but not limited to learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and mental health conditions. They pride themselves on offering person centered care, maximising each individuals potential for health improvement and promoting a positive sense of self-worth. Some services have clients who will require assistance with personal care and there are also some with challenging behaviours. Services vary in size from 5 to 13 clients and depending on your experience and preference the company can base you at the service that best suits your skills and background to best support their clients.
The team work closely to ensure the best possible standards of care are always achieved, supporting with day to day activities and personal care whilst also encouraging each individual to be active in the community. As a Support Worker you will need to demonstrate the ability to undertake daily living skills (cooking, budgeting, domestic duties) and impart these skills to others. We want you to be enthusiastic and bring your personality into the role, throwing yourself into all aspects of life within the service and bring that enthusiasm to the residents. Previous experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues or any other care sectors within a supervisory or team leading role will be extremely advantageous. As a Support Worker you will work collaboratively with the other Care Workers and ensure that the very highest standards of support are provided in accordance with the company's Mission Statement.
Key details
Full or part time, permanent Support Worker positions
37.5 hours per week; part time of 22.5 or 30 hours per week
7:30am-3pm; 2:30pm-10pm, Waking Nights Support Worker roles are also available
£9.50-10.00 per hour

Support Worker Requirements:
Previous experience within a supported living/residential care home as a Support Worker / Care Assistant
Experience of working with clients with learning disabilities, autism or challenging behaviours
NVQs in Health and Social Care are preferred but not essential
