Application Support Analyst
Salary – £28-32k per annum
Location – Milton Keynes Head Office
Reports to: Application Support Team Lead
Summary
As a member of the Application Support Team the role of Application Support Analyst reports to the Application Support Team Lead.
The Application Support Team is moving towards centralising the support of business applications at Scania, and the team is expanding to provide this support effectively.
There are presently circa 50 applications anticipated to require ongoing IT support for which training will be provided over the long term.
This role requires provision of IT support to a number of business departments and may include troubleshooting, issue resolution, logging and managing tickets with 3rd parties, project engagement and ongoing support BAU.
The successful applicant will also be assisting with queries from the network in relation to the Autoline Dealer Management System (DSM) and will be required to provide support with systems testing of the Autoline application developments/enhancements.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Provide support for business applications
Project activities and deliverables as assigned
Testing of development prior to changes being made active in systems
Problem solving
Analytical and methodological approach
Responding to service desk tickets
Creation of knowledge base articles
Report creation and maintenance
Customer focused, professional attitude
Excellent oral and written communication
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Motivated, enthusiastic, customer focused attitude
Ability to learn and pick up new skills quickly as part of the onboarding process
Practical experience of the Scania Autoline Dealer Management System with emphasis on the following modules:
CRM, Aftersales Point of Sale (Parts/Service, Service Scheduling/Workshop Loading)
Able to work as part of the team as well as independently as required
Able to use own initiative and prioritise workload
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to work with 3rd Party support partners
