Sales Trainer
Based: Milton Keynes (some UK travel).
Salary: £30-40K DOE

We are looking for a talented Sales Trainer who is passionate about developing people and giving them the tools to thrive within a forward-thinking business.

This person will take ownership of sales training and development across all call centre and field-based sales teams. They will partner with sales leaders across the business to identify development needs and create suitable training and development plans to support ambitious business goals.

This person will be responsible for the induction of new starters, ongoing product and sales skills training, ensuring they demonstrate true customer obsession. They will play a key role in developing and maintaining a continuous development culture across the business.

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver induction programmes for sales teams supporting the early lifecycle of their career.
*Improve sales performance and capabilities through 121 and group coaching and training sessions
*Acquire and maintain outstanding levels of product knowledge and industry awareness
*Training needs analysis across the sales teams ensuring learning and development is directly aligned to strategic goals
*Shadow sales employees to assess skills gaps and opportunities for improvement
*Continuously monitor, review and seek feedback on training sessions and development programmes. Utilising this insight to hone training materials so that training is always valued
*Monitor and assess effectiveness of training interventions against sales performance
*Keep up to date with latest training trends and methods for innovation and continuous learning

Experience

*Experience in designing and delivering sales training
*Coaching and mentoring individuals to drive performance
*Great stakeholder management and ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
*Experience of working in a contact centre or field based environment preferable
*An understanding of the full training cycle from needs analysis through to training evaluation
*A relevant L&D qualification could be advantageous, but is not essential

*Flexibility of approach so that training engages all learning styles
*Ability to inspire and persuade others
*Efficient personal organisation, and an ability to prioritise workload and manage own time in a deadline-driven environment
*Professional presentation skills
*Friendly and professional demeanour combined with exceptional interpersonal skills and high levels of emotional intelligence.
