We are looking for a people professional to join this well-established growing and evolving business as the Head of Sales. You will be responsible for a team of seven and focusing on leading the team from the front to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company objectives and aligned vision and values.
Purpose of the role:
The primary role for the Head of Sales is to deliver consistent sales performance, in line with the sales strategy and team goals. Setting, monitoring and aligning sales activities across New Business, Account Management and Marketing teams.
The role focuses on leading the teams from the front to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with departmental objectives and aligned the company vision and values.
You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity as they are continually adapting whilst the business is evolving and growing.

Job Objectives:
The Head of Sales is responsible for developing weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual sales targets for, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, service mix development, and taking ownership for the company's performance against targets.
Responsibilities:
Working to the strategic sales plan, the new business team is responsible for expanding the customer base.
Working to the strategic active client plan the Account Management team is responsible for retaining and expanding sales opportunities within their account portfolio.
Working to the strategic marketing plan, which dovetails with the sales and account management plan, the marketing team is responsible for executing effective marketing campaigns and collateral in the chosen target markets, whilst creating and maintain a strong brand presence.

Solid track record in delivering results through a sales team in a competitive service sector
Experience of leading individuals and teams by empowerment and developed capability
Motivated and dedicated professional, hardworking, committed
KPI and data driven
Ideally from a SME service led industry
Excellent communicator, able to encourage and skilfully influence others to gain buy-in
Ability to manage difficult discussions professionally looking for win/win solutions
Strong multitasking and organisational skills
Pragmatic and practical, with the ability to seek facts from evidence and data
Demonstrable commercial and strategic capability
Strong IT skills: MS Office, specifically Word and ExcelWhat's in it for you?

Benefits include a competitive salary of circa £40,000 with an OTE of £60,000, bonus scheme, phone, laptop, flexible working – currently all working from home, some presence in the MK office will be required when back to the office.
