The Job

As the a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for quality checking at the goods in stage and also at the end of the manufacturing process to ensure the product is ready to be sent out. The inspection will include Machined, Fabricated, Electrical and Composite parts purchased or manufactured in house reporting any issues found to a Quality Engineer. You will be required to maintain the records on the ERP system and MS Excel.

The company

They work with some World famous brands, the majority of which are in the Motorsport industry however, they also supply products into the Aerospace, MOD and Marine industries so as you can imagine quality is of the upmost importance. They have a specially kitted out workshop that you would be proud to show customers which is located conveniently just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. This position will be working closely with the Quality Engineers who are a very hard working and dedicated group, so someone who shares that approach will no doubt thrive in this company.

Experience

Relevant experience for this role would include previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment , ideally as a quality inspector however previous mechanical experience will be considered. You will be using verniers to check various components on a daily basis so experience here would be highly desirable. As you will be working within the quality team a strong attention to details is essential.
