Fire Safety Consultant

£40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits

Aylesbury, South East (Remote Based)

A new opportunity has arisen within one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary consultancies who specialise in the Infrastructure, Labs & Analytical, Building Control and Compliance sectors. Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking to add to their Fire Division and are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to join the team in the South East.

To be considered for this post, it is essential that applicants are qualified to Level 4 IFE Diploma and hold professional membership to IFE.

As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will:

Conduct type complex and non-complex Fire Risk Assessments across various building types
Undertake fire door, compartmentation and fire stopping surveys
Produce fire safety policies, fire management plans and evacuation procedures
Provide competent fire risk control advice, support and fire safety training
Generate comprehensive reports to be issues to clientsWhat are we looking for?

5 + years' experience working within the fire safety industry
Level 4 IFE Diploma as a minimum
Experience in conducting compartmentation surveys, fire stopping reviews, fire door surveys and Type 1 – 4 fire risk assessments
Up to date knowledge of all relevant fire safety regulations and guidance
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
