We are now seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Role
As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing stock levels throughout the business whilst planning ahead to ensure availability and production remains consistent.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure quality is maintained and supplier invoicing is accurate, challenging both fronts if that isn’t the case. You will manage and maintain in-house systems, ensuring stock levels are correct and adjusting them when needed.
Additionally, you will build and maintain good strategic relationships with key supply partners and improve the performance of our current suppliers in terms of delivery, reliability and quality consistency.
Your role will also involve:
– Placing and tracking stock orders from third parties to ensure a timely delivery
– Ensuring stock levels remain within the agreed ranges
– Supporting the Operations Director with supply chain reporting
– Monitoring, maintaining and reporting on supplier KPIs
– Negotiating supply contract terms and service level agreements
About You
To join us as an Operations Assistant, you will need:
– Experience working in a purchasing role sourcing multiple products
– At least three years’ progressive and successful experience in international supply chain
– Experience in supplier performance management with measurable improvements achieved
– Experience developing strategic partnerships with key suppliers and involvement in negotiating supplier agreements
– Experience with ERP or Supply Chain systems that provide supply chain capacity planning, stock optimization and live update reporting
– Experience working within a role that is responsible for QA
– The ability to work alone or as part of a team to resolve issues
– Experience building and utilizing relationships to further business interests
– To be comfortable with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
– A strong working knowledge of ERP systems
– The ability to evaluate complex business requirements and handle data analysis
– A grasp of economics and market dynamics
– The ability to undertake supply and demand planning
Supply Chain training would be beneficial but not essential.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Some flexibility may be required on occasion.
