My well established international client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to head up their team. As the manager you will be an integral part of the customer service team using your outstanding customer service skills to maintain and develop client relationships. Your role will include playing an essential part in business development whilst motivating, managing and directing your team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and line manage the customer service team, encompassing all customer channels.
Internal communications – deliver internal updates to the customer service team to ensure correct and informed decisions are delivered to end customers.
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.
Build and maintain relationships internally and externally, especially with key customers providing a senior point of contact.
Monitor website activity via emails, ensuring smooth process of order receipts and payments. Work closely with IT and Web developer to resolve any issues.
Manage the bespoke call system and ensure customer service are delivering on SLAs.
Manage difficult customer calls and find positive resolutions.
Represent customer service team at sales meetings, including some occasional off-site customer meetings.
Train and continual develop the customer service team and identify training needs.
Organise and run customer service team meetings providing company updates.
Undertake supervision, 1-1 sand appraisals for the customer service team.
Analyse and monitor progress against the key objectives for the business.Skills

Excellent communication skills both visually and verbally with internal and external stakeholders
Commercial acumen
Line Management, team development and coaching
Strong organisation skills, with attention to detail across multiple projects
Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines are met
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to unite teams throughout the businessKnowledge and Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service management role
Line Management, training and coaching experience
Knowledge and experience of using a CRM system (customer relationship management)
Performance management experience
