Product Manager of Services, High Wycombe, £70,000pa plus benefits:

A leading high-tech manufacturer is looking to recruit a Product Manager of Services. This is an incredibly exciting time for the Product Manager of Services to join their business, as they are going through a period of change on how they engage their customers, moving towards a XaaS model.

As the Product Manager of Services, your core objective is to understand customer services needs and from that insight, develop Services and Service product strategies, so they become a best-in-class in customer engagement, digital Services delivery, recurring Services revenues and Services Margin.

On a day-to-day basis Product Manager of Services will:

Own and deliver the Vision and Strategy for Services products
Develop and present business cases to steer Service product strategy and priorities
Seek to develop new Digital Services products that take advantage of IoT and Machine Learning
Seek to broaden and segment (by customer persona) the service portfolio e.g. Service Contracts, upgrades, training, consultancy & consumables, producing services that customers want and that drive significant revenue and profit margin growth
Ensure Services products are optimally price positioned and sold through appropriate channels,
Guide Services product strategy within New Product Development as part of the stage gate process Ideal candidate:

The successful Product Manager of Services will have demonstrable experience in product management across a wide portfolio of products, with a clear understanding of the management of the revenue lifecycle of those products through to end of life, ideally involving Instrumentation or highly technical product markets.

Experience in product management of a services portfolio, and the development of tailored services highly desirable
Experience in roles that involve a focus on Market Intimacy and Voice of Customer practices with demonstrable proven market development successes.
Experience in applying the potential of IoT and Machine Learning in the customer experience.
An out of the box thinker who can visualise how today's physical products can become services that develop recurring revenues and deeper customer intimacy.
Strong verbal and presentation communication skills with an ability to communicate appropriately at multiple levels 'from director to technician' in external organisations. Initially this role will be onboarded remotely, but you should be prepared to travel into their High Wycombe site for regular meetings and be happy going to their other UK sites. As global restrictions ease, you may also get the opportunity to travel to some global locations.
