The successful teacher will have:
Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Physical, Mental, Sensory Impairments
Experience working in secondary schools (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
Experience delivering GCSE Maths
Strong Behaviour Management skills
Ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
QTS or equivalent and a relevant Undergraduate Degree
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
The role will consist of:
Developing measures to ensure a calm and productive working environment so that pupils can achieve their potential – to develop the whole person focusing on self-worth and achievement of personal goals
Developing a cohesive and personalised programme of learning for all pupils so that agreed outcomes are achieved in year and at the end of key stages
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
