The Role
As a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial responsibility throughout design to build stages on a £50m+ new build residential project in Milton Keynes. You will play a key a role in leading a high performing commercial team that is able to enhance the best value for money in delivering a multi-room development providing 300+ new living spaces.
Duties
Procurement
Financial reporting
Cash flow and credit control monitoring
Client and supply chain contract management
Risk contingency planning and mitigation strategies
Client and supply chain change control management
Liaising and supporting the project management team
Advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
Build up the supply chain to ensure processes are run smoothly
Dispute support activities to legal departments and external experts
Client and supply chain management from procurement to final account
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the architect and the client
Provide detailed reports of tender allowances and managing the budget of the developments from outset to completion
Integral in all aspects related to finances, commercial and contractual works related to the schemes
