An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Architect to play a key role in defining and enabling the manufacturing architecture for digital factory across a global network of manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Global Digital Transformation Director for manufacturing, you will work closely with all squad members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future changes and designs. 

As a Technical Architect, your responsibilities will include: 

Designing the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the squads.
Guiding squads on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
Taking responsibility for the design of the products.
Mentoring and coaching the team.
Being hands on and engaging to develop the solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand to remove impediments.
Working with Product Owners to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities withing the stack.
Thought partnering with the Product Owner in story creation and acceptance criteria and communicating trade-offs effectively with Designers.
Providing the squads with a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality.
Sharing responsibility with Technical & Business Product Owner for building reusable and scalable components.
Partnering strongly with enterprise leaders to enable technology re-use from the company wide IT echo system.
We are looking for a Technical Architect who has the following skills and experiences: 

Experience in Agile software development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience preferred.
Experience managing technical priorities within the backlog.
Seen as an expert within the technical components of the products.
Seasoned developer or lead with deep insight into newest technologies and trends.
The ability to make decisions at a squad and product level.
The ability to code back and front-end solutions.
Previous experience as a solutions architect, preferably in manufacturing domain and/or life sciences domain.
Significant experience with AWS technology stack and have acted in SA role for large data analytics projects & integrations.
Familiarity with production Cloud/DevOps environments.
An understanding of the relationship with Technical and Business Product Owner, Scrum Master, and rest of the team.
Expert with Jira/Confluence.
