Job Title: Inspection Team Leader 

Location: Denham 

Industry: Aerospace 

Salary: £40,000 to £46,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Benefits

One of the leading design and manufacturers in the aerospace sector are looking for a Inspection Team Leader to join them on their Denham site, on a full time, permanent basis. The main objectives of the role are as follows;

Support Cell Leaders in achievement of objectives

Liaise with the Inspection Manager and Production Control Manager / Team to establish workload and priority requirements.

Proactively create, review, and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant ATP / Company Policy / Quality assurance policy.

Develop and communicate targets, KPI`s and measures for the Inspection team aligned to company goals and objectives.

People Management

Manage employee performance acknowledging exceptional performance and putting plans in place in to address poor performance where appropriate.

Coach team members in business improvement processes and techniques

Ensure that appraisals and development plans are in place for all team members.

Ensure that an up-to-date skills matrix is in place for each of their cells.

Participate in the recruitment and training of new recruits to their teams.

Put in place regular team briefs and ensure that all Cell Leaders are communicating priorities and KPI performance on a daily / weekly basis.

Deal with any employee disputes, disciplinary and grievance issues in accordance with company procedures and employment law.

Ensure that all areas under the post holder’s control comply with all relevant procedures within the H&S Management system
