The Company
A UK leading precision engineering company based in Aylesbury are looking for an experienced CNC Fixed Head Lathe Turner Programmer, Setter to join their team.
The company have an excellent reputation within the UK and internationally establishing themselves as one of the top trusted suppliers of organisations across the globe.

The Role
The company are looking for an engineer to program, set and operate their CNC Fixed Head Lathes. You will be producing high precision, one off and small batch volume components for the aerospace and automotive industry.

Duties
·Program, Set and operate CNC Fixed Head Lathes (CMZ or Doosan Puma or Nakamura).
·Machine to tight tolerances.
·One off's and small batch work.
·Produce components from various general engineering and exotic materials.

Requirements
·Must have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Fixed Head Lathes (Miyano or Doosan Puma or CMZ)
·Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
·Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
·Ideal candidate will have gantry loading twin turret lathe experience – we have a brand new machine coming next month.
