We are currently recruiting for a September start at a secondary school in Milton Keynes looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology / Food & Nutrition Teacher practical hands-on experience & a good level of subject knowledge.

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, with full teaching responsibilities.

* A passion for and interest in Food & Nutrition that extends beyond the classroom.

* Someone who can teach the whole age and ability range

* An awareness of and interest in new developments in education and creative disciplines.

* A team player with resourcefulness, flexibility, and an ambition to succeed.

* An able and successful teacher

The campus has two food preparation rooms that have been recently refurbished and are both equipped with interactive boards. Facilities include one traditional food preparation room fully equipped for traditional teaching and the second is a state-of-the-art professional training kitchen.

The enthusiasm of students extends beyond the lessons and we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who will contribute to the extra and cross-curricular activities of the team. These include clubs, Healthy Food Week, a “Foodie Group” to work with our catering team, masterclasses, and trips.

The school has a very strong SLT and amazing reputation with a supportive work environment open to experienced teachers and NQT’s with experience in Food and Nutrition.
