Experience needed…
Proven track record as a Quality Manager within a QMS, FMCG or High-volume environment.
Detailed knowledge of working under ISO 9001 and Food Safety Standards.
Quality and Process control in a customer facing role.
Certified Internal Auditor as a minimum.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate people
Advanced Excel and MiniTab skills.
Knowledge of CI / Process Improvement / Problem solving techniques such as Kaizen, LSS, 5S, 8D,qualifications needed
Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Member of CQI or similar Quality Chartered membership
Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt

Day to Day of the role
Manage the day to day activities relevant to Quality and System compliance, coordinating activities required to meet Company, Plant, Stakeholder and Regulatory Standards
Maintain compliance of our Integrated Management System (IMS) with specific external and internal standards, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 50001, along with product Regulatory requirements.
Customer facing to support with Quality concerns or improvement initiatives
Monitor and analyse quality related data using relevant statistical techniques to identify adverse trends.
Facilitate root cause analysis of quality issues and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.
Lead the Quality team ensuring health & safety, standard work, attendance and cover are effectively managed.
Ensure the training and development needs of the site and specifically the Quality team are evaluated and addressed.
Integral to the introduction of new products into Production, ensuring required specifications and quality plans are in place and communicated.
Monitor relevant legal requirements for site products and ensure compliance.
Maintain quality reporting system that accurately reflects site quality performance and meets corporate requirements.
Report quality performance and improvement activity weekly to site Operations Manager and monthly to the site management meetings.
Participate as a member of the UK internal quality auditing team
Participate as a member of the site leadership team to continuously improve all aspects of site performance using corporate tools and processes.
Lead quality incident management including traceability and recall.
Lead the implementation of new technology for the quality department.
Lead the site Improvement Plan that strives for Operational Excellence
