Architectural Technician – High Wycombe | £30,000 – £35,000
Are you an experienced Architectural Technician who wants to join one of the region’s leading housing developers? Established over 15 years ago, this company produces distinctive, well-thought-out, and well-designed developments across the country. Recognised as an upmarket housing developer that has a growing focus on sustainability, the successful Architectural Technician will be joining a forward-thinking and collaborative team.
With offices up and down the country, you will be a part of a growing High Wycombe office that includes plenty of onsite facilities, such as a gym and cafeteria!

The ideal Architectural Technician will have a passion for sustainability and be interested in researching modern methods of construction.
Your responsibilities as the Architectural Technician:
* Production of detailed design drawings to maintain house types and details.
* Carrying out site visits to investigate project improvement opportunities.
* Work closely with wider departments to provide technical information and assist with technical issues relating to building regulations
* Liaising with planning teams, technical managers, and sales teams to improve product offerings.
* Attend team meetings, site visits, and meetings with other consultants/contractors
* Stay up to date with any future changes in Building Regulations that may impact the company and products on offer.
What is required from the Architectural Technician:
* Relevant Architectural Technology degree or HNC/HND equivalent
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign advantageous
* Exceptional administrative skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* The ability to work alone and within a team
* Be self-motivated with strong communication skills
* Strong design skills in both traditional and contemporary Architecture
* Excellent presentation skills
* Knowledge of current Building Regulations
* Experience of working with a housing/property developer preferred but not essential
* Proficiency/familiarity in Autodesk Revit – preferred but not essential
* Competent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
