The Company:
World renowned manufacturer of mechanical support, HVAC, AHU and mechanical building services products for the construction industry.
Location:
The territory covered by this position includes North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Berkshire and East Anglia. Candidates will ideally live within 2 hours of London.
The Role:
Joining this market leading construction product manufacturer, as the Regional Sales Manager for the area listed above, you will play a vital role ensuring the successful winning and subsequent delivery of projects in the construction industry.
Using your proven ability in a technical sales, business development or similar "commercially driven" role, you will work with M & E contractors, HVAC / AHU companies, architects, specifiers, design consultants and similar professionals to understand the solutions required for each individual project. You will then liaise with your in-house technical engineering and structural design teams to devise and then present the perfect solution; project managing the process until full site installation.

Candidate Requirements:
Essentially we are looking for proven technical sales, business development and solution sales experience from within the construction industry.
You will have strong commercial acumen, be a "go getter" and someone who is proactive and can listen, understand and then deliver the right product for the client's specification.
Living within 2 hours of London, you will have a full UK Drivers Licence and either qualifications in mechanical engineering or a good general knowledge understanding of mechanical engineering principles. Any experience with the HVAC, AHU, ventilation, mechanical structures or mechanical building services sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
All construction industry sales experience will be seriously considered as this is more about personality, sales skills, drive and enthusiasm to make this job a success.

Other suitable experience can include any of the following…
> Sale of HVAC related products (Condensers, AHU’s, Chillers etc) into M&E contractors
> Steelwork packages/contracting – selling fabricated solutions into main contractors
> Sales or commercial develop experience within M&E contractors
> Structural Engineering related experience would be advantageous but not essential
> Consultative sales experience – experience selling a bespoke project solution rather than a standard product.
