As a Senior Project Quality Engineer you will support project teams in identifying, scoping and implementing tangible improvement opportunities in the supply chain. Key criteria for the Senior Project Quality Engineer:
* Bachelors degree of equivalent in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing
* Experience in governance, AS9100 / ISO9001 and continuous improvement
* Extensive knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes
* Experience of producing key quality/supply chain metrics and auditing suppliers
* Experience of deploying various tools and techniques i.e. APQP, PPAP, 8D, PFMEAs, Lead, 5S, Root cause analysis, DMAIC, First Article Verifications
Key responsibilities of the Senior Project Quality Engineer:
* Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities within the external supply chain
* Manage Supplier Audits
* Ensure supply chain risks and opportunities are identified, mitigated and exploited as required
* Ensure compliance to ISO standards with particular emphasis process effectiveness
* Implementation of supplier failure review boards
* Identification and deliver of internal procurement improvement opportunities in order to support both delivery and cost benefits
