Manufacturing Materials Supervisor
Buckinghamshire
£22k – £27k
Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday 8am – 1pm Friday
Recruit 12 has an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Materials Supervisor to plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the systems activities, providing project, launch, leadership, communication and training & development.
You will be joining a leading designer and manufacturer of automotive components.
As a Manufacturing Materials Supervisor your responsibilities will include the following:
* System management
* Plan, manage and administrate plan for every part
* Lineside design meeting, direct process timings and ergonomic guidelines
* Packaging design and management support
* Facilitate effective communication
* Inventory management lineside (minimum balance reporting and shortage report management)
* Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SWI's)
* Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
* Work in collaboration with internal business units to maximise efficiencies and best practice
* Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels
* Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
* Local project management
* Launch support
* Specific functional responsibilities supporting internal customers
* Customer engagement to support assembly & logistics functions
To be successful as Manufacturing Materials Supervisor, you must have:
* Minimum 3 years experience of team management
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills
* Excellent communicator
* Knowledge of health & safety requirements
* Computer literate
* Demonstrable track record of issue resolution techniques (8D/Kaizen)
* Experience of working within a fast-paced industry ie automotive
This position is based in Buckingham and is easily accessible from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Rugby
