As the Supply Chain Co-Ordinator based at the Milton Keynes head office you will be working within the planning and supply chain co—ordination team this role will see you liaising between the hauliers and warehouse, ensuring all the planned loads are fully optimised at all times and making any changes necessary to improve the optimisation of each load and delivery. Entering the delivery data into SAP and the management of any queries that may come as a result. The role with then require the continued tracking of these orders ensuring that all is completed as designed and planned. Possible more involvement of planning may be required in the future as the role may evolve over time too.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Developing relationships with the hauliers and warehouse team.
Continuous analysis of loads and the full optimisation of each delivery and load
Maximising efficiency at all times
Acting as the liaison and interface between the hauliers and warehouse.
Processing and entering delivery data and information into SAP ensuring records and fully kept up to date
Management of any delivery queries or issues
Tracking of orders and the deliveries
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience of working in a planning or logistics background previous as a Supply chain or Planning co-ordinator
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing/logistics/distribution environment
Experience of managing high call volumes and processing customer orders
Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous or if not then experience with ERP
Must be highly organised and always prepared to follow the task through.
Prepared to work the extra hours to ensure the job is complete.
Strong people skills and ability to adapt to dealing with different types of personalities and on a daily basis.
Strong administration skills and is clear and methodical in their daily working routine.
Real attention to detail
Good Customer service and influencing skills
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literate.

Salary :- C£23k basic equivalent – £11.05 per hour PAYE
Development :- Min 3 month contract with view to potentially go Permanent.
Location :- Milton Keynes
Hours :- Mon – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
