Senior Associate – Structures

Up and coming civil and structural design consultancy with around 20 staff are looking to grow their Southern division. The firm was established in 2020, is rapidly growing and demonstrating repeated success. The company Directors are all highly qualified reputable individuals with big company backgrounds. They have so many clients they are facing having to turn away work, hence the need for this new appointment. They are a dynamic and flexible practice. The Southern office currently works from home but will be establishing office space shortly, and will be around the Hemel Hempstead area. The Southern Team is currently 6 staff and growing.

This role is for a Senior Structural/Civil Engineer, MICE or MIStructE, and will mainly be a management position rather than hands on number crunching. The role will involve concept design for structures and overseeing design for the civils aspects of projects as well. If you are experienced in both civils and structural design work this would be advantageous. You will be managing clients, design teams and delivering projects.

Most of the firm's projects are in the industrial field – sheds, warehouses, distribution centres, production plants, ports and storage facilities, manufacturing plants, car showrooms etc. Experience with these type of large projects is essential, as is a forward thinking outlook, excellent technical ability and ability to deliver to, develop and nurture clients.

On top of good basic salary there will be an excellent bonus scheme at 10%, 25 days annual leave, excellent pension scheme and death in service benefit.
