Working as part of the Finance Team in a busy Finance department based at Head Office, you will take responsibility for supporting the Finance Director with day-to-day finance tasks as well as overseeing all UK management reporting and reviewing nominal ledgers.
This role covers, the following 2 UK companies DEKRA Claims Services UK and DEKRA Loss Adjusters & Surveyors.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail and commitment in meeting deadlines.
You will also be required to deputise for the FD on a regular basis, working closely with the UK Managing Director and the MD’s of each of the 2 business units.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring month end procedures are implemented and followed
* Production of annual management accounts package and reports (including rolling forward each year)
* Reconciliation of control accounts in all companies
* Regular review of the nominal ledger to ensure accurate posting
* Production of year-end audit file and information
* Identifying area's which require additional analysis
* Overseeing enquires and supply of information for other departments within the company
* Providing professional and effective services to internal and / or external customers, to meet customer expectations
* Working together with other departments to identify any process improvements and improve standards, efficiency and profitability
* Timely and accurate production of the monthly management accounts within set guidelines
* Accurate and documented reconciliation of all control accounts with all discrepancies investigated and rectified
* Formal month end procedures implemented, followed and completed on a monthly basis
* Reports produced in a timely manner and in a comprehensive format to allow analysis of sales and expenditure
* Heads of departments are supplied with P&L information where required in a timely and comprehendible format
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Sage Line 50 Accounts
* Use of Excel at an intermediate level
* A wealth of experience within a similar role

* Excellent numerical skills with the ability to analyze information and prepare reports
