Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a Top 40 Accountancy Practice based in Milton Keynes to provide them a with a qualified Audit Senior Manager to join their team on a Permanent Basis!

Your Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager with a professional practice background to work within their Audit and Accounts department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload for general practice partners across the firm and to develop and supervise the Audit team.

The main duties of this role include:

Reporting directly to partners and liaising with other managers as required.
Planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts cases.
Assisting staff with technical accounting and auditing problems.
Developing the audit functions at Milton Keynes and synchronising with the other offices.
Assisting in preparation and delivery of pitches for new clients
Supervision and development of the staff and providing leadership to the department.
You will be ACA / ACCA qualified with 4 years post qualified experience within a professional chartered practice environment.

To be considered for this position you need to be able to demonstrate:

Strong knowledge of Accounting and Auditing
Proven managerial skills and experience
Experience in managing audits
Proficient technical ability
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
A proven ability to prioritise workload
Excellent communication skills
A working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, Alphatax, ProAudit, CCH and Sage
