Machine Minder Operative Needed ASAP.

You will be working for a FMCG Manufacturing business in the Tilbrook area of Milton Keynes.

The role of the Machine Minder is to co-ordinate the safe and efficient running of production, including the control of packing and quality of the components being made.

Duties:

Support the efficient running of production lines.
Ensure that site records and reports are maintained and kept up to date.
Ensure good standard of housekeeping on production lines and within the factory by maintaining a Clean as you Go approach.
Collection of empty bins/pallets to support the packing of finished goods on the lines.
Make up of cartons/boxes for the packing of finished goods.
Ensure packs/boxes are correctly labelled.
Sealing and closing the packs.
Scanning and booking the finished packs into stock.

Skills and Qualifications:

Able to work effectively within a high speed, team orientated working environment.
Working accurately within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours and Pay:

Days: Wednesday to Saturday 8am to 8pm

Days: Sunday to Wednesday 8am to 8pm

Nights: Monday to Thursday 8pm to 8am

12 hour shifts

£9.17 an hour for the first 7.5 hours, £12.23 an hour the remaining 3.75 hours

Saturday time and a half and Sunday double time

Breaks: 2 x 20 minutes (paid) 1 x 45 minutes (unpaid)

Training for both shifts will be on day shift hours for 4 weeks
