Area Development Manager (Rent to Buy Provider)

Immediately Required

Salary: £50-60,000 per annum+ Car Allowance

Location: South East

DK are proud to be working with an ambitious, growing organisation who provide a rent to buy solution across the UK. They are looking for an Area Manager to help develop their business with local authorities, housing associations and developers. This is a permanent role and will be a mixture of remote working and office working (when covid appropriate)

* Develop own business plan and generate new opportunities from promoting the organisations working model

* Creating and maintaining relationships with developers, land owners, agents, local authority and RPS to identify new project opportunities

* Liaise with Programme management team to prepare appraisals including rent and service charge modelling, viability and sales proceeds

* Present bid submissions for affordable S106 housing opportunities and land or development opportunities

* Ensure consent for schemes are met

* Work with professionals such as Solicitors, Surveyors and Agents to ensure work is delivered on time

* Monitoring and allocating budgets

Essential Skills:

* Working knowledge of rent to buy/homeownership

* Must have worked for a Developer, housing association or Local Authority

* An understanding of Section 106 opportunities

* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build long term relationships
