We have a current opportunity for a Telephony Business Development Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Milton Keynes.
Job Summary:
To provide both a reactive and proactive telephony service that will support the Bank establish and maintain strong working relationships with brokers and introducers which in turn will contribute to the acquisition of new finance business.
Role duties:
Play a key role in contributing to the Bank achieving set levels of new business to assist in the achievement of financial objectives and sustainable future growth
Deliver a great customer experience to the brokers and Introducers in line with our contact strategy
Proactively identify and research new and existing business opportunities
Assist with the generation of leads to drive new business, grow distribution partners and create new business opportunities
Provide broker support in conjunction with the Field bases Business Development Managers and National Key Account Manager to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Support the on boarding and review of distribution partners by following all Bank due diligence policies
Follow up the on boarding of new brokers to help forge strong working relationships with new brokers
Utilise Shariah compliant marketing and sales materials, where appropriate
Create, maintain and implement a regular contact strategy with a group of brokers agreed with the Head of Sales
Maintain and regularly develop market knowledge of both the traditional mortgage and Home Finance market to assist in a professional and knowledgeable interactions with brokersSkills, experience and knowledge:
Strong Home Finance / Mortgage market knowledge, in particular of the Buy-to-Let market and the legislation covering the sector
Good working knowledge of competitors operating in the market with the ability to articulate how the proposition adds value in comparison to others
Work on own initiative whilst contributing to the wider teams' achievements
Strong verbal communications with experience of interacting effectively over the telephone both externally and internally
Strong and articulate written communication skills
A strong numeracy capability to support educating brokers increase their knowledge and understanding of the Banks proposition
