Our client has tasked us with finding a talented Public Health Design Engineer to join their existing team in Buckinghamshire.

Job Overview and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team
• Public Health design including but not limited to sanitary plumbing systems, hot and cold domestic water design, below ground drainage systems, surface water drainage systems, septic tank installations, basement membrane drainage systems, pumped drainage installations
• Preparation and development of concept, feasibility and detailed design proposals, which include specifications, drawings, calculations
• Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with either some knowledge of the use of Revit or the desire to learn
• MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
• Good communication skills required and be able to attend meetings with clients, other professional design team members and contractors
• Strong technical expertise within mechanical building services design, gained working within the UK building services industry for either a consultancy or contractor
• Knowledge of UK design legislation and guidance

Knowledge and Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ Public Health services design experience (less if a Junior Engineer)

• Personable and be able to work part of a team
• High standard of written and verbal English
• Able to handle several ongoing projects at various stages
• Full UK drivers’ licence
