Assistant Operations Technician

£35,000 – 40,000 DOE

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Operations Technician to work on an Energy from Waste (EfW) site based in Milton Keynes.  

Our client is a leading business within the Power Generations sector and are looking for an experienced Assistant Operations Technician/Operator to join their team.

As the Assistant Operations Technician, you will be responsible for:

Assisting the Team Leader and Shift Operators with the daily operations of the plant
Carrying out daily plant checks, testing and inspections
Ensuring all shift handovers and requests are dealt with correctly
Working closely with the maintenance team to ensure full plant efficiency
Undergoing any training with a view of progressing into Shift Operations Technician
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/HNC/Apprenticeship)
Proven operations experience in a Process Plant environment (EfW/Anaerobic Digestion/Water Treatment etc.)
An excellent understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and policy
