Interim New Product Development Technologist / Lead

Reporting to the Head of Product Development

Interim role, 6 months ongoing

within scope

Location Buckinghamshire

The successful candidate will develop new concepts will support all product development activity within the various food categories to implement best in market products. Your new challenge will be to focus on new product and recipe generation.

Working on a fast-growing category.

Develop new concepts, provide subject matter expertise on ingredients process and product development.

You will have the opportunity to develop new own brand products & improve existing products.

You’ll be responsible for the full Concept to Launch Process. You will manage the transition from Blue Sky Development in test to plant trials and launch, with full adherence to the Manufacturing Stage & Gate Process.

Attend customer research listening groups & debrief.

Support the NPD Manager to deliver the Site Product Development plan

About You

You will have proven experience of new product development, innovation and improvement of products ideally from a food supplier or manufacturer
Experience of recipe development, innovation, plat trialling and product launches
A strong understanding of the food market & ideally bakery
Ability to inspire & engage key stakeholders at all levels & across all functions
Strong project management skills
