My client is looking to recruit a Transport Planner working nights, the successful candidate must be available immediately.

This position is working four on four off – 8.00pm – 8.00am

The role will include, but not limited to –

· Planning vehicles and manpower effectively each week to maximise budget and delivery times.

· Communicate with drivers and others efficiently within the transport team and being the first point of contact with drivers with any issues.

· React well to problems and changes in situations to minimise disruption times.

· Support all the transport team with all aspects and briefing with the depot manager.

· To be part of all the daily briefings and monthly budget targets.

· Communicate with the warehouse to ensure the deliveries are loaded and on time with the schedule.

· Ensuring driver safety.

This is a permanent position paying £28,000 – £32,000
