Commercial Co-ordinator – Parts Operations
£29,000 to £35,000 + Company Success Scheme + Excellent Benefits Package
Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00
Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Co-Ordinator who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and has a passion for working with the best.
Based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes you will provide operational support to the Parts Operations department and field based team. You will complete daily pricing activities, competitor and product analysis, sales support processing and Area Manager support to produce data and reports to make recommendations for business improvements. You will work to continually improve processes in all that you do.

Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining the SCANIA and VRS parts pricing requirements on a daily basis following company pricing strategies, and ensuring impacts of duty are considered as applicable.
Maintain all systems relating to pricing administration and complete system maintenance protocols to ensure all data held within Scania systems is up-to-date Support our internal stakeholders and dealer network with a wide range of queries relating to Commercial Parts Operations
Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal and customer use on Scania and VRS products
Management and development of reporting suites to provide insight to our internal stakeholders Analysis of product data to identify trends and gather relevant information to make recommendations relating to pricing and marketing activities using various systems
Carry out analysis of our competitors, and have understanding of our market position with regards to our products Collaborate with the VRS team to set up new products and maintain Scania systems effectively
Working with VRS to update supplier cost files and data, to review and propose recommended price levels to ensure volume penetration and profitability
Assist the Commercial Manager and other internal stakeholders as required
Review current department processes and systems with a view to driving efficiencies, and keep all relevant documentation up to date.
Assist with other duties as and when required
Key requirements for the role:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability write and understand formulas
Interest in working with insight and data,
looking for changes in sales trends and tying them to relevant market conditions
Good written and verbal communication
Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and problem solve
Self- motivated and assertive Flexible and adaptable to change
Working as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills Numerate, accurate, diligent, detail-oriented, analytical minded
Understand the principles of pricing and margin, and with a focus on profitability for all parties
Customer Focused Experience/skills regarded as ideal but not essential
Experience of working with Autoline, AS400 would be an advantage
Previous use of Autoline would be preferable
Previous experience of using Microsoft Access Confident with computers, and willing to learn new systems and develop existing ones Some technical understanding of the Scania product range or similar in the automotive sector
