We have an exciting opportunity to work for the fastest growing multichannel toy retailers in the UK. Our client has over 170 UK stores stretched across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the islands and they are still growing!

They have an opening in their design team for a Graphic Designer, reporting into their Design Manager. As part of their design team, you will be working in their busy marketing and on-line department producing visually compelling work for all their retail and online channels.

Responsibilities include

Creating on brand, aesthetically pleasing and functional visual designs that support the business objectives across all our channels and markets.
Ensuring all graphics, logos and artwork adheres to the appropriate brand guidelines.
Managing different streams of work to meet a range of deadlines.  Manage your own workload within agreed timescales – communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Clearly articulating design rationale and confidently presenting visual design work to all levels of the business.
Critiquing the marketing assets and suggesting improvements.
Where necessary liaising with design and advertising agencies.
Ensuring creative is consistent across all assets and channels.
Creating and amending print, digital and video assets for (but not limited to):

Web
Social Channels
POS
Business Stationery
Large Format print work e.g. Hoarding
Adverts and Posters
Competition Entry Forms
PowerPoint Presentations
Video Show Reels / Digital Screens

Our client is easily commutable from High Wycombe, Amersham, Beaconsfield and accessible from the M40.

Salary £28K – £31K and Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5.00pm / 8.30am – 5.30pm

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a design role, ideally with a retail or agency background and a thorough knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Packages. They require someone with strong visual & creative skills who can deliver multiple projects with great attention to detail.
