A leading civil engineering contractor are searching for an experienced Materials Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be joining a close-knit team on a high profile project in the Buckinghamshire area which is ongoing for the next couple of years.

Some of your duties will include:

• Conducting lab soils/aggregates/concrete testing in accordance to UKAS and technical specifications

• Conducting insitu testing and material sampling

• Recording all results in accordance with QA/QC documentation

• Maintain and calibrate equipment.

• Requesting tests • Monitoring test frequency

• Monitoring test results for (Grading, MC, MCV friction etc)

• Assessing classification of materials • Monitoring compaction

About you:

HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience within a similar role

Stable career history

Able to travel throughout the Buckinghamshire area
