Job title: Business Development Engineer (Remote to start, given the current climate)

Initially formed nearly five decades ago, our client is a prominent and still rapidly expanding business that was formed in 1967 with the aim to transform the competitive Mechanical and Industrial engineering sectors

With further plans of expansion on the horizon, the company are now looking to recruit dynamic and commercially-minded graduates to join their team as a Business Development Engineer.

Business Development Engineer package:

Basic salary of £25,000 with 7k commission

Business Development Engineers responsibilities:

Operating out of the businesses state-of-the-art Milton Keynes office, you will spend your initial 2-3 months shadowing a Senior Sales Executive, where you will be tasked with amassing a firm understanding of the inner workings of the company whilst also managing the front end of the sales cycle.

Once comfortable, you will then progress into handling existing accounts, where you will manage face to face meetings and proactively close business opportunities. From there a successful applicant will then progress into the full sales cycle where you will grow and develop existing and new accounts through client outreach whilst also keeping track of key performance metrics.

As such, the role on offer suits a highly self-motivated individual that possesses a willingness to learn and achieve.

Educated to degree level
Essential – Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Personable and confident dealing with a range of individuals at every level of business
