Business Development Executive

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team in Milton Keynes. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for effective prospecting, as well as driving marketing campaign opportunities with existing and new clients through exceptional relationship building. The right candidate must be energetic and focused with an unstoppable motivation to sell and strong desire to succeed. You will need to understand the company products and services in order to identify client needs, understand what constitutes a qualified marketing lead and persistently follow-up and follow-through via phone, email and via online order systems.
Key Responsibilities
Create a great first impression to all prospects.
Nurture warm prospects by maintaining the relationship through email and phone conversations and assessing their pain points and drivers for the purchase decision.
Approach companies that could benefit from the company's products/services using outbound calling techniques.
Set up sales discovery meetings for the external Sales Team.
Utilise sales and marketing software platforms like Salesforce and SalesLoft to maximise effectiveness.
Partner with experienced Account Executives to increase their sales pipeline.
Continually increase your product knowledge by working closely with the Training Specialist and Product Development teams.
Engage with prospects as part of follow up on marketing campaigns.
Maintain an appropriate level of daily, weekly, and monthly activity to develop business demand to help achieve monthly goals and targets.
Other duties/projects as required.
Skills/Attitude:
A minimum of years of B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing or customer centric role.
Hungry – demonstrate a strong desire and ability to hit targets and exceed expectations.
Must have good cold calling skills and techniques.
Demonstrate strong communication skills over-the-phone and when using video conferencing tools.
Ability to really listen to a prospect and their day-to-day challenges; identify the key needs of a prospect and translate those needs into solutions.
Experience working with (url removed), SalesLoft would be advantageous.
An overall self-motivated individual that can thrive in a fun, face paced environment.
