Are you seeking that next challenge to join a successful safety team of a firmly established civil engineering contractor? Then this crucial NEW appointment may be the match for you.
This is a varied operational senior safety advisor role with extensive site presence working on key water and other utility projects across the London and home counties region.
It will be a robust working environment requiring a professional who is able to ‘hit the ground running’ and utilise effective persuasive and advisory skills. You will also be proficient in working closely with key clients who maintain high standard expectations.
There will be line management of 1 x H&S Advisor and diverse working operations include confined spaces and deep excavation work.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a Safety Director who is progressive and forward thinking in approach.
Essential Requirements for the role are:
* GradIOSH (graduate member of IOSH) / CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* Significant experience of civil engineering, water or utilities projects
* Effective coaching and influencing skills.
* Gravitas and strength of character with excellent client liaison skills
* Full UK Driving License
Desirable requirements:
* Home base ideal for the region would be :- West London or South West of London or North West side of London. Surrey, Berkshire, Bucks or Hertfordshire
* Current NRSWA card would be ideal
Package – £55k – £65k + car allowance to £6,500
