CNC LATHE PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR
Exciting new permanent position for an CNC Lathe Programmer / operator.

Main responsibilities

* To be fully conversant with programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres

* Knowledge of Fanuc and Mazak control systems is desirable

* Have the ability to set, operate and programme one-off’s, small and medium batch quantities

* The ability to produce precision components from a variety of engineering materials

* To produce components within a cost-effective time-frame

* The ability to read and understand engineering technical drawings

* Conversant with all necessary measuring equipment

* Able to work under own initiative and capable of working with limited supervision

* Self-inspection

* Required to work within a detailed ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)

* Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels and work pro-actively as part of a team

* Take part in training provided

* Be responsible for working in a clean and tidy manner adhering to Health & Safety requirements

* Any other duties as required
