Head of Carpentry
Bluerock Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a high-end producer of bespoke furniture providing extensive in-house manufacturing services, specializing in high quality upholstery and luxury furniture for high end residential, luxury hotels, yachts and prestigious hospitality projects.
Due to the ongoing expansion of the business, we are seeking an experienced person whom is used to working to the highest level of accuracy and quality. This busy role will provide the right individual with lots of variety on a day to day basis.

Reporting to head of Operations the head of Carpentry’s key responsibilities will be –
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the Carpentry Department & Team.
– Organise and plan Carpentry production schedule with the Planner / Buyer.
– To calculate the materials and components required to manufacture scheduled works for the Planner / Buyer to purchase.
– Ability to read client CAD drawings and decide how to make frames efficiently and effectively.
– Quality control checks of all manufactured frames.
– Teach and mentor team of Carpenters.
Experience / skills required –
– Previous experience of bespoke furniture manufacture, specifically upholstered furniture frame making.
– Previous experience of leading a team either as a Department Head, Production Supervisor or Line Manager.
– Able to manage time and resources to achieve deadlines.
– Good attention to detail.
– Good spoken and written English
