Do you want to work for a market leader in the plastic packaging and chemical industry? Would a shift pattern suit your home life? Due to growth we are recruiting a Machine Controller. Working continental shifts (4 x  12 hour day shifts 6-6, and 4 x 12 hour night shifts 6-6 with 4 days off in between each block) on a salary of up to £34,000 plus annual bonus (6% of salary), summer and Christmas shut down, and a generous pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution).
 
This is a permanent role based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
 
As Machine Controller, reporting to the Operations Shift Leader, you will be responsible for operating production lines and ancillary equipment working towards production targets, ensuring quality standards are met, reporting any breakdowns or malfunctions efficiently to avoid downtime, and controlling the mixing, melting, extruding, cooling,  and drying machinery, as well as assisting in packaging the final product ready for quality control and dispatch.
 
I would be very keen to hear from people that have worked in a manufacturing/ packaging environment previously with experience in operating similar plant and production machinery. Any knowledge of the plastics or chemical industry would be advantageous; however training can be provided.
