Programme Manager – Milton Keynes
The Company:
Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside this global leading electric charging business. My client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The Role
Responsible for End-to-End programme delivery of key strategic programmes (growth initiatives and operational efficiency).
Development and management of overall delivery plan for specific programmes within the overall portfolio – including milestones and identification of key dependencies between other programmes
Definition of project / programme objectives and being on point to support stakeholders from across the business to develop business cases for new initiatives ·
Identification of business and process changes required to deliver and implementation of appropriate change management to ensure anticipated benefits are realised · Communication of programme status through governance, to ensure wider business stakeholders are aware of programme status, as well as any risks, issues or milestones requiring attention ·
The role is a critical part of the business strategy to ensure our client, and the broader electrification team delivers in 2021
Key Skills:
* Comfortable leading cross functional teams across marketing, sales, operations, digital products and technology ·
* Ability to provide structured and logical approach to complex problems, with excellent core problem solving ability
* Positive personality, with energetic leadership style and strong resilience · A good balance of structured/holistic thinking with fast moving and pragmatic approach to ensure quick delivery Passionate about continuous improvement, process efficiency and people empowerment
* Proven and successful in managing joint projects with partners and 3rd party suppliers
* Proven track record of performing in high-intensity environments, operating within tight financial resources and meeting challenging deadlines
* The role is a critical part of the business strategy to ensure our client and the broader electrification team delivers in 2021
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years Commercial years Project/Programme management experience. This is a great opportunity for a PMO to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
You will have solid knowledge of the following:
* Proven success managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects / programmes
* Experience within project management / PMO
* Experience working within Agile environment (preferable)
* Self-starter mentality with drive and motivation whilst also being an exceptional communicator who works well within a multidisciplinary team, bringing colleagues with them on a journey
* Positive personality, with energetic leadership style and strong resilience
* A good balance of structured/holistic thinking with fast moving and pragmatic approach to ensure quick delivery
* Passionate about continuous improvement, process efficiency and people empowerment

The Location:

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + great benefits including, contributed pension scheme, 25 days + 8 days bank holidays
