Project Manager (Security Industry Experience) – 2 Years + – Remote Working
Job Mission:
A key member of our client's growing team, working directly with a global client over multiple sites. This will be a pivotal role working at all levels and developing the dedicated client delivery team. It is essential that we deliver projects on time, on budget, ensuring engineering excellence is achieved at all levels with utmost customer care and communication.
Annual Budget Responsibilities:
An overall tracking responsibility of hours and materials spent on managed projects. To liaise with quantity surveyor to ensure the overall profitability and spend is in line with the project.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Liaising with the Design team upon handover of the projects.
* Delivering the projects from Stage 5 construction to Stage 6 commissioning. Ensuring the project is closed out to the critical dates: FDOB (First day of business)
* Using the client's specific tools i.e. Google docs/Drive/Smartsheet/PlanGrid
* Completing weekly reports via PlanGrid ensuring critical milestones for each project are identified and deadlines are met.
* Working with the quantity surveyor to plan and manage the labour resource along with materials and equipment whilst staying within budget and actively tracking this.
* Liaising with the commissioning team to plan resource for testing and sign off.
* Be proactive in understanding the work in progress of the current projects and ensuring with the Account Manager we are financially up to date on invoicing/contract valuations.
* Pre-preparation of risk assessments and method statements for all project related tasks
Experience and Professional Qualification Requirements:
* Proven track record within the security industry.
* Experience in enterprise security solutions.
* Experienced in dealing at an Executive level both internally and externally.
* Able to work in confidence with confidential matters.
* Ability to work under pressured deadlines.
* Ability to lead a growing engineering and project support team
