Responsibilities:
Managing the safe execution of Test, Rod & Rope works across multiple sites and via multiple contractors through the issuing, tracking and completion of work packages
· Leading a safety-first culture with our supply chain
· Managing contractor performance against the package(s) of work outlined within the contract
· Administering the NEC contract, ensuring early warnings are responded to and any compensation events are dealt with
· Liaising with the Internal Design Team to ensure the timely issuing of work to third party contractors.
· Managing the project delivery cycle, from project planning through to completion
· Creating and issuing work packages to external field teams and tracking progress against the plan
· Ensuring the output from the field is received in the recognised Swish templates ready for action by the Design Teams upon receipt
· Ensuring applications for payment made under the contract are evidenced and validated with any defects recorded
· Ensure up-to-date risk registers and issues logs are maintained
· Leading Project Review Sessions and conducting Lessons Learnt reviews on completion of projects and provide regular updates into the Head of Delivery
· Coordinate internally communications with stakeholders, liaise with contractors, suppliers externally
Requirements:
· Utillities or Telecoms Test Roding & Roping experience essential
· Experience of the full project lifecycle from business engagement, planning, through delivery to implementation
· Experience in using QGIS & CEMAR
· Proactive, accountable, attention to detail is essential
· Excellent communication skills
· IT skills using Microsoft Package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Ability to build effective relationships
· Organised, with good time management and the ability to plan effectively
· Full UK driving license is essential
