The role:
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist construction vehicles.
They've an enviable reputation for quality, performance and innovation that goes back decades. Due to a sustained period of growth they are looking to appoint a Parts Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of their UK parts operations.
Your responsibility will include the effective management of internal inventories, parts supply and systems. You'll also have the autonomy to lead and motivate the existing team ensuring productivity, job quotations and orders meet customers expectations. It's a pivotal role – you'll need to support your department establishing that they are advising and selling effectively, improving upon conversion rates and ultimately contributing to the revenue goals of the wider business.

Naturally you'll be supported from day one within this welcoming business and given a platform to initiate improvement initiatives; whether that to internal systems, processes or by developing your team.
Hours:
It's a sociable day shift working Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00.
Additional hours may be required from time-to-time, however the main focus is on a good work life balance.

Requirements:
It is essential that all applicants can demonstrate a current track-record of working in a similar parts supervisory role.
Whilst direct product experience isn't essential you will need to have a good understanding of machines, components, logistics and inventory systems.
You should be proficient in SAP and MS office.
An experienced & positive leader with a natural focus on customer excellence.
