This role will be based at our headquarters in Marlow, Buckinghamshire with travel to customer sites.
Your skills and experience
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading front end pursuits and Campaigns for new technology, services and applications for existing customers as well as new customers (Market Development).
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying opportunities and associated value propositions and working across the business units to develop solutions.
* Manage pursuits through to contract award / handover. Developing a strong opportunity pipeline that supports the business units and Sector’s strategic and long range goals.
* You will use Standard Business Win best practice to identify, qualify and develop revenue opportunities.
* You will understand customer needs and shape new business requirements to develop and execute win strategies to bring innovative solutions to customers.
* You will Act as a Capture Team manager or be part of a capture team and act as 'voice of the customer' and encourage team behaviours that focus on adding value and delivering customer benefits.
* You will maintain pipeline health to exceed order intake targets to support revenue generation and drive quality and timely responses of customer deliverables.
* The successful candidate will drive the BU through appropriate BW Gate decisions with a pragmatic view of the BU’s ability to deliver a solution in line with overall opportunity objectives.
* You will own pursuit through contract negotiation and acceptance to Program hand-off and provide input to internal business strategy development.
* You will recommend potential partnerships, investments and M&A opportunities and manage partnerships and teaming arrangements.
