Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Customer Advisor to join their Student Services team in Milton Keynes. This role is to start Monday 24th May until 31st July 2021, working 37hrs a week. This role is working from home currently and equipment will be supplied. The hourly rate is £11.99ph.
The hours are Monday-Friday 09:30-18:00. There are plans that this may change to the include the following; 1 late shift per week from 12:00-20:00, additionally a Friday late shift on a rotating basis broadly 1:7 and 1 Saturday on a rotating basis broadly 1:5 when working a Saturday a day in lieu during the week is provided.
The post holder will make outbound calls to current students to proactively support them with their studies. To offer advice and support. You need to be able to investigate and offer guidance as required. Where necessary to refer on to other staff with specialist expertise, as part of the Information, Advice and Guidance model; making interactions with The Open University as effortless and seamless as possible.
Skills and Experience required
Good communication skills and to be able to offer support and empathy if required.
Strong IT skills to be able to learn and use the inhouse and MS office packages.
