First established in 1940 Percy Davies was acquired by the Cotswold Jewellery Group in 2018 and later that year underwent a full refurbishment. The owning group operates six High Street stores throughout Southern England and can trace their own businesses origins back to 1741. Thus, making this business one of the longest established jewellery firms in the South of England.
The company specialise in fine jewellery and offer an eclectic range of antique, vintage, and contemporary jewellery & silverware. All pre-owned jewellery is hand restored by their own team of highly skilled Goldsmiths. Alongside offering a bespoke jewellery design service, customers additionally appreciate the array of other associated services on offer such as repairs, valuations, and the ability to purchase precious metals & unwanted gem set jewellery.
Job Role:
Internal team re-organisation has now afforded an opening for either a full-time role or for a job share on a part time basis.
The store ranges are ever welcoming items anew, so an eye to ensure immaculate in-store presentation is of course key. Your salesmanship skills are always evident, underscored with a real fervour to customer serve above and beyond, encouraging future purchasing loyalty.

Requirements:
* Ideally for our client the successful applicant will already be versed in retail sales and especially relevant of course, would be prior experience selling fine jewellery merchandise.
* The breadth of products sold does call for a thirst to understand and appreciate all genres of jewellery making and be comfortable explaining features, advantages and benefits of each item showcased.
* You’ll need to be at ease handling valuable luxury goods. Treating all merchandise be it for sale, being sold, or indeed your store committing to purchase with delicacy and great care.
* It is often the case within this trade that individuals could be looking to enrich their store professionalism and where certain promise is identified our client would encouraging JET (Jewellery Educational Trust) training which they could sponsor.
