Description: We are recruiting for a local automotive, breakdown and recovery organisation based in Newport Pagnell. A fantastic opportunity is available for a Roadside & Recovery Driver to join this hardworking and friendly business. Based from a depot in Newport Pagnell the successful candidate will receive full training, a generous salary and benefits package with overtime opportunities along with the chance to help people in a genuine time of need.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Attending broken down cars and light vans by the roadside

* Loading and transporting broken down vehicles and their occupants from the roadside to a designated drop off point

* Assisting the company’s customers in a stressful time of need

To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. No experience is necessary as full training is given but candidates must have the following skills:

* Full HGV2 or LGVC or HGV1 or LGVCE Licence (no more than 6 points for minor endorsements and no outstanding DD, DR or CD penalty points) and a minimum of 1-years current commercial driving experience.

* Digi Tacho

* Drivers CPC

* Confident and personable when talking to customers

* Willing to work in all weather conditions

* Empathetic and appreciative of the stressful situation that customers can find themselves in

Shifts: Vary to include days, middles and lates, will include weekend working as part of the roster.

Hours: 11 hours per shift

Training: Induction course and On-the-Job training offered
