Account Manager
Construction Software – SaaS
£30k – £35k + bonus (OTE £45k – £50k)
* Our client is looking for an Account Manager with a background in construction sales / selling software as a service – SaaS. They are a leading software developer and supplier who deliver cutting edge solutions to construction businesses worldwide, every day.
The Role
* As Account Manager, you will be a partner to your customers, consulting with them to understand the overall business and its objectives to provide software that adds real value.
* Maximise business opportunities by understanding the customer intimately; their competitors, market developments, strengths, weaknesses.
* You will conduct industry analysis to prospect for new software as a service (SaaS) business ensuring a targeted and intelligent approach to campaigns or proposals rooted in commercial research.
* Understand customer requirements, showcase the leading edge solutions and match as appropriate to the customer's needs.
* Influence customers decision making process and guide them to positive outcomes.
* Negotiate contracts/renewals for software as a service (SaaS) and build relationships at all levels and to multiple stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to increase revenue by upselling and cross-selling other products.
* Create awareness and new leads through the use of social media, events and other campaigns.
The Candidate
* A successful Account Manager, experienced in construction sales / selling software as a service – SaaS.
* A true relationship manager, with a background in successful account management.
* You will have a passion for technology and innovation as well as making a genuine impact on customers businesses.
* Your background will be as a consultative partner for your customers with the ability to identify the best solutions for them and influence their way of thinking.
* Ambitious with the desire to make a real contribution to the ongoing success of the team.
* An eye for detail and able to manage data and information effectively.
* Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills to prioritise workload and will remain calm under pressure.
* Tenacious, energetic and self-motivated with a determination to exceed targets and customer expectations.
* Able to align solutions with customers business needs and deliver needs-analysis.
