A very large special needs school in Milton Keynes is looking for a new Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

In a breath-taking building with superb facilities, by joining this team as the new Teaching Assistant you will have access to an abundance of resources to support the children in your care. The school has a sensory resource base, including a range of sensory and soft play suites, swimming pool, extensive play and outdoor learning areas, a gym, a cooking suite, multi-agency hubs, drama/dance studios and sports hall (to name a few).

Catering for learners with a wide range of ASD needs this Milton Keynes school is looking for an experienced teaching assistant who can add value to their school in all aspects of learning including; assessment, communication, physical, medical and sensory needs and working towards EHCP targets.

As the new Teaching Assistant of the school you will have sole responsibility to support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have direct experience in supporting vulnerable children with additional needs and would be confident in supporting challenging behaviour and SEND.

Candidates that have any Behaviour Management training such as Team Teach would be preferable, given the unique needs of the pupils in this school, and the school holistic approach to supporting their children.
